The Federal Funding Tracking Tool
Launched in December 2022
The Federal Funding Tracking Tool, created in partnership with Ethos Research, maps out federal funding from key federal legislation, such as the Inflation Reduction Act, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the American Rescue Plan, as it moves from Congress to the states.
Updated every two weeks, it includes information on:
The federal agency, department, and office who will be allocating the funding
If the funding will be formulaic (distribute to states based on population) or grant-based (where states, localities, nonprofits and others can apply directly for the funding)
Who is eligible to apply
Application timelines and links
Agency contacts to inquire about the program or funding opportunity, including whether we’ve been able to get in touch with a representative or not
We’ve also included information on specific funding allocations for the Equity Fund’s 13 states. This includes:
Funding amounts distributed to specific cities and localities
State contact information to inquire further on funding opportunities
